Why I partnered with

Ausdocs

Hear from the clinicians and staff who experience the benefit of doctor-owned support every day.

“As an owner, I wanted to ensure the long-term future of the practice. After doing my research, selling to Ausdocs and remaining a shareholder Doctor felt the best option for me. I knew I could stay focused on patients, and practice would be well supported and continue to thrive.”

Dr Leo Blanco
Goodwin Drive Family Medical Centre

“We kept our name and local feel, gained real support for the team, and our patients experienced continuity from day one”

Practice Owners
Milton Village Medical

“Selling our practices was a big decision, but partnering with Ausdocs felt right from day one. They understand general practice and genuinely care about our people and patients. I know we made the right decision and we're proud our clinics are part of this growing network”

Dr Vlad Hasa
Balgal Beach Medical Practice, Bluewater Medical Practice and Bushland Beach Medical Centre

You have questions? We have the answers.

Will my clinic keep its name?

Yes. Your clinic will keep it's name and brand - our model preserves local identity and community ties

What happens to my staff?

As part of any practice sale, we look to transition your staff and independent Doctors over to Ausdocs Group contracts as employees or holders of service agreements. For those that are employees, all their entitlements and years of service are rolled over. Of course we do appreicate that some individuals may choose to depart at the time of sale and we will respect and support them as needed.

Can I keep consulting?

Yes. If you are selling outright (and not remaining a Shareholder GP), in most instances we would look to establish an agreed timeline for you to remain working with the clinic for both patient and practice team stability. We do appreicate that in some instances this might not be possible and also that you might wish to remain working post your originally agreed terms - this can all be accomodated.

Do you buy premises?

Yes. In some instances we have purchased both a practice and the premises. If you own both the clinic and the premises, it all depends on what you are interested in selling (we have purchased practices from owners that remain landlords), future value and growth for your clinic, and those general real estate questions / evaluations we would want to consider with regards to any premises purchase.

Is the first conversation confidential?

Absolutely. Any conversation you have with us is confidential (and without any obligation). We are able to ensure relevant paperwork is signed to provide you with this reassurance (especially during the due diligence and financials review stage), confidentialty and commercial senstivity is required.
