You have questions? We have the answers.

How is Ausdocs different from other corporates?

Ausdocs is a GP-owned and led company, that genuinely invests in its people and practices who care for patients everyday.
We provide hands-on operational support, clear systems and strong central resources, which makes day-to-day work easier - not harder. Importantly, each clinic keeps its local identity and team culture, so it never feels like a ‘one-size-fits-all’ corporate model.

For doctors, this means strong operational and practice support, while maintaining full clinical autonomy and focus on patient care.

Are there career progression opportunities for practice staff?

Absolutely. Career progression is a real and proven pathway for practice staff. At Ausdocs, many team members start within a practice, grow into senior and leadership roles (such as Nurse Team Lead, Senior Reception or Practice Manager). There have also been numerous instances where individuals have then progressed beyond the practice into positions within the Ausdocs Head Office team (like Area Manager, Group Nurse Manager, or even Operations Support roles).

At the heart of everything people wise at Ausdocs Group, investment in the ongoing training, development and mentoring of talent is pivotal at all levels of the business.

Is Ausdocs Group and equal opportunity employer?

We sure are. We have always been an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, forbidding discrimination based on race, gender, religion, age, or disability. At Ausdocs, we firmly believe in being a "Culture Add" employer meaning that rather than assessing if you fit us, we assess how your unique perspective, background, and skills can add to and enrich one of our practices or wider company culture.

We are also very proud to have an even 50/50 split of male and female General Practitioners (as independent contractors and registrars) across our network; and ~70% female workforce that is employed across our network within our practices and head office team. We also offer flexible arrangements wherever suitable (or practical) in the form of hybrid/remote work, flexible hours, job sharing, and compressed workweeks.

What onboarding is offered for new staff or Doctors?

Whether you are a medical receptionist, an independent Doctor, or stepping into a senior management role in our Head Office team, getting you settled quickly and confidently is our priority. Effective onboarding matters to us - it helps build a sense of culture and belonging, and allows you to feel functionally across your role as soon as possible. At all levels of the business, you will experience pre-boarding (paperwork, logistics and welcome resources); structured orientation (clear and organised welcome on your first day, week or month etc.); mentorship/management support (if suitable); and establishing shared defined goals (yours and ours) and how we can measure these over the first few months.

Can I work at more than one Ausdocs Group Clinic?

Yes. Whilst all our clinics have their uniqueness and individual identity, in some instances we do have Staff and Independent GPs working across more than one of our clinics. In  most cases these will be "sister-site" locations but opporutnites to work at more than one clinic in the network does exist.

We also do our best to support any internal applications from Staff or Independent GPs that are relocating and wish to remain working within the network.
