Our Ausdocs Group Story
Ausdocs Holdings Group was established in 2018 by Dr. Ali Issapour with one General Medical Practice in Gladstone, on the Central Queensland coast.
Since this time, the number of general medical practices within the group has grown to 16, as of March 2025.
Today, our Ausdocs Group family includes more than 150 staff and 120 independent doctors, delivering quality care to patients.
Our Founder
Despite his passion for all areas of General Practice, Dr Ali Issapour has always been interested in process improvement, management and innovation to benefit the patient experience and delivery of medical services.
Ali began his leadership journey into practice ownership in 2008 where he and his partners successfully grew a group of Medical Practices in Brisbane.
In 2018 following extensive research on ownership models, Ali decided to embark on a new Doctor-owned model establishing Ausdocs Holdings Group, with a focus on effective business management whilst maintaining high-quality patient care. In appointing those with expertise and experience in their respective fields, Ali has built a well-functioning operation in Ausdocs Group.
Through regular management consultation and monthly meetings with shareholder and senior Doctors; Ali helps drive the Mission, Vision and Values of the company as we continue to grow. He also actively supports the staff, Doctors and individuality of each of the practices within the group.
