CQ Medicentre is looking for an experienced, organised, and motivated full-time Practice Manager to join their thriving team.
CQ Medicentre consists of two well-established Practices located on the Northside and Southside of Rockhampton. Both practices include a group of highly experienced and dedicated GPs, who love being doctors and care about the local area and community.

Responsibilities Include:
- Manage the efficient day to day running, administration and customer service of the Practice
- Work with our Operations Manager to develop, implement, and maintain strategic business planning
- Assist in the recruitment and retention of GPs and Allied Health Professionals
- Lead the development of the nursing and reception teams including structuring roles, recruitment and retention of staff, and the delivery of trained and committed care and services to our patients
- Developing and updating policies and procedures to ensure compliance for maintaining accreditation standards and Medicare requirements
- Provide regular communication to the whole of the practice team through staff meetings
- Understand training needs within the Practice and facilitate professional development Handling and resolving of patient complaints
- Work with our accounts team to ensure all financial reports, information and payroll details are provided in a timely and efficient manner
- Work with support teams as needed - marketing, IT, HR etc.
- Manage all aspects of the business and report as necessary
- Liaise with providers for supplier and customer related business matters.

Your skills and experience include:
- Previous leadership position or the ability to enter a leadership role with confidence
- Understanding of business operations, financial reporting and compliance in the primary healthcare setting, and reporting to meetings
- Ability to master new processes and IT systems; experience with Medical Director and/or Best Practice software highly desirable
- Skilled at multi-tasking, problem-solving and time management
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional self-development
- Adhere to Government regulations regarding COVID vaccination requirements
