Throughout his career he has been a highly collaborative practitioner, practice owner and business leader.
Today Ali remains a practicing GP (working across several of our Ausdocs practices), in addition to his role as the current Chairman of Ausdocs Group.
Whilst Ali’s passions are very business focused, he’s also a lover of dining out with friends and family, spending quality time with those that matter most, and ensuring that at the end of the day there is always a good laugh!

Michael is an experienced General Practitioner and Aviation Medical Examiner who is a previous practice owner and a current shareholder doctor at City Heart Medical in Rockhampton, where he has practiced for over 30 years.
He's one of our two GP Representatives who works closely with the leadership team to represent the brand and our practices for the benefit of recruitment and retention, exploring new business opportunities, onboarding new GP Practices and GPs, and providing clinical and general industry insights.
Michael works as a GP supervisor and mentor to registrars and IMGs requiring clinical supervision and understands the complexities of juggling this with the day-to-day dynamics of working as a GP in addition to surgical assisting in Urology and Orthopaedics and performing, and training junior GP Registrars in skin cancer surgery.
Michael enjoys travelling with his wife now his two sons have grown up, one in aviation and the other in medicine and, as an experienced pilot himself, delights in finding time to get in the air, anytime he can.

Winston has over 20 years’ experience as a regional GP with a variety of special interests including workplace medicals to the mining industry.
He brings his own experiences as an IMG (having completed medical school in South Africa), and a wealth of knowledge as a previous practice owner and a current shareholder doctor

Winston has over 20 years’ experience as a regional GP with a variety of special interests including workplace medicals to the mining industry.
He brings his own experiences as an IMG (having completed medical school in South Africa), and a wealth of knowledge as a previous practice owner and a current shareholder doctor at Gladstone GP Superclinic.
Winston is one of our two GP Representatives whose role is to work closely with the Ausdocs Group leadership team to represent the brand and our practices within the medical profession for the benefit of recruitment and retention, exploring new business opportunities, onboarding new GP Practices and GPs, and providing clinical and general industry insights. Winston also works as a GP supervisor, where he regularly oversees GP registrars and IMGs.
Despite relocating to Australia back in 2002, he remains an avid Springboks supporter and enjoys attending events and conferences to keep up to date with Practice and clinical developments and to network with fellow GPs.

Paul is an experienced executive leader with an extensive background in strategic and business development, finance and business administration. He has successfully grown and managed teams for both SME’s and large multinational organisations in Australia and overseas.
As the Group CEO, Paul is responsible for leading Ausdocs Group’s business strategic plan, financial performance, and overall business operations, with more than 150 staff across the company.
Outside of work, you’ll likely find Paul at an AFL game in the winter months or during the warm summer days, on the Gold Coast with his surf loving friends.

Amanda joined the Ausdocs Group team in 2024 bringing with her an extensive background in practice management, accreditation, operations, and training within the general practice sector.
She works closely with our Operations Manager, Practice Managers and head office support staff to deliver specific projects, as well as provide training and assist in operational matters at the practice level.
In addition to qualifications in practice management, training, and assessment; Amanda also holds an MBA and is currently studying a diploma of counselling. Away from the office you’ll most likely find her shopping and eating out, hanging out with her hubby, three boys and two furbabies or jumping on a plane to travel to faraway lands!

She’s completed study through the University of New England (UNE) in Practice Management, whilst working in local medical practices in both Rockhampton and Yeppoon. She is also a qualified JP.
Julie’s warm and nurturing leadership style has seen her step into the role of Area Manager - Central Queensland for Ausdocs Group, where she works with the local Practices in day-to-day operations.
Outside of work, you’ll find Julie attending sporting competitions and functions with her family and friends – she’s an avid Rugby League supporter. Julie also enjoys spending time at the beach and loves her two Jack Russell pups.

She has a passion for leadership and promoting health and wellbeing for all; and believes in working with her team of nurses to create a positive and caring culture.

Alisa works with our Operations Manager to primarily oversee nursing clinical compliance, practice support and ongoing training and development.
She is also a proud mum of two girls, has completed additional studies in nutrition, and enjoys staying fit and healthy, along with her daily dose of Nutella!

Summer’s background in administration spans the medical and events industry space, before joining Ausdocs Group in mid-2023 to continue her journey. With astute organisation and coordination skills, Summer oversees administration for the corporate office, as well as managing meetings, schedules and travel arrangements for Ausdocs senior management and its many practices.
