Practice Manager - Highgate Hill Doctors

About Us   

Highgate Hill Doctors have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, organised, and motivated full-time Practice Manager to lead their practice in Brisbane.

The Practice includes a team of six experienced and dedicated GPs, well-trained support staff (nursing and reception), as well as various allied health professionals to support the health and well-being of patients.

Responsibilities Include:  

• Manage the efficient day to day running of the practice and report as necessary
• Work with your Manager to develop, implement, and maintain strategic business planning
• Assist in the recruitment and retention of GPs, Nurses and Practice Staff
• Developing and updating policies and procedures that are in accordance with the latest edition of the RACGP Standards for General Practices Ensure compliance for maintaining accreditation standards and Medicare requirements
• Understand training needs within the Practice and facilitate professional development
• Liaise with IT professionals to manage internal IT systems
• Work with our Accounts team to ensure all financial reports, information and payroll details are provided in a timely and efficient manner
• Liaise with providers for supplier and customer related business matters.

Your skills and experience include:

• Previous leadership position or the ability to enter a leadership role within a medical practice, with confidence
• Understanding of business operations, financial reporting and compliance in the primary healthcare setting, and reporting at meetings
• Skilled at multi-tasking, problem-solving and time management
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality.
