Ausdocs Group was established in 2018 by
Dr. Ali Issapour and has since grown to 12 medical practices across Australia, employing 150 staff and partnering with 100 doctors.
Our mission is to remain a doctor-owned group; focused on quality patient care, supportive practice management and structured pathways to equity for doctors; helps guide our growth.
We believe this provides GPs the security and support needed to build their own careers in the ever-changing general practice environment.
Making the transition for Doctors from New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom (UK), Ireland, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Spain, Sweden and the United States of America (USA) easy through:
Transition from other countries may be suitable and the Ausdocs Group team are available to talk through the options available for you.
International Medical Graduates (IMGs) are practitioners who received their qualifications outside Australia or New Zealand.
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is our specialist college here in Australia for GPs and provides pathways for IMGs to gain fellowship in Australia.
Where do you see your life in 10 or even 20 years?
If you'd like to be working flexible hours in an established practice, where you have high demand for your services... this is the GP landscape in Australia!
Likewise, does working close to the beach in a growing city sounds like something your family would enjoy?
The lifestyle in Australia is relaxed, with vast open space meaning a big open-plan living house with a pool and backyard is very popular! And with some 60,000 kilometres of coastline, you'll find a beach within less than one (1) hour-drive from every capital city!
GPs in Australia are in high demand!
On average a GP working a minimum of four (4) clinic days a week (or around 26-34 hours a week) is taking home anywhere between $200,000 - $300,000 (AUD).
That's equivalent to about €121,000 - €182,000 (EURO) or $131,000 - $200,000 (USD) for on average fewer hours worked that most other countries across the globe. And of course, because you chose the hours you want to work - your earning capacity has much room for growth in Australia.
The healthcare industry (like everywhere in the world) is tired post the height of COVID. However, the medical profession in Australia is embedded with support to help you care for patients.
Whilst the team at Ausdocs Group will support you in the form of mentoring and clinical guidance as you work towards fellowship, accounts, marketing etc., you'll find other supports in place to help you.
Some of these include ongoing professional development, medical indemnity protection, physical and mental health supports, and even advocacy and lobbying.
