Ausdocs Appoints Chief Medical Officer

As of February 2023, Dr Nadun Rubasinghe will step into a part-time role with Ausdocs Group as the Chief Medical Officer.

In this role, his core responsibilities will be clinical governance and registrar/IMG training.

He will also remain working as a specialist GP at Highgate Hill Doctors in Brisbane, which he recently joined in late 2022.

Dr Nadun graduated from Medical School in Sri Lanka in 2008 and since then has worked in Sri Lanka, Singapore and Australia. In addition to his work as a GP, he has previously worked as a Lecturer with the School of Medicine at Finders University, and holds a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Education and a Certificate in Clinical Governance for Patient Safety and Quality Care. Dr Nadun has also been involved in various research projects, most recently within the field of medical education, with a focus on the value of e-learning and medical supervision.

His special interests in information technology and bio-medical informatics, as well as medical education / teaching, and general practice clinical leadership; make him a highly valuable addition to the Ausdocs Group team.
